No, he's well within his rights to diss cake. Pie, on the other hand, is waaaayyyy off limits.

What are the fixes/extras? I'm a sworn Dynahead these days......but the partner in crime here is on PREPS 5.2.1. It'll be up to me to do any update, though, and wear the consequences of any stuff-up it may cause...
I can hear the sound of sleeping dogs...hehe...
I'll keep listening here though.      :undecided:

edit for version:...oops, think I meant 5.3.1    :embarrassed:

Hell yeah! Why ya think I was asking first???
I didn't see anything but "fixes general problems", whatever that means.

Well, I'm friggin bored now, so I'm going for the upgrade. Will report back (unless I get fired for screwing up my Mac). :undecided:

So far so good.
The only obvious change I see is a new creep scaling option in layout details. Can either add creep as usual or scale the pages apparently. Don't know about that one yet- most of my clients frown on having their pages scaled.
Joe, run a few jobs with it and let me know will ya?

No time right now. Busier than a mosquito at a blood drive. Will try it later in the week.

I just got back from GraphExpo and I am geeked about Preps.

I just got a demo on the new Preps and it blew me away.

You impose according to press sheet size, drop your pages into a smart marks template, a few tweaks here and there, and all with actual previews in real time. No more ripping out hair at last minute press changes.

Maybe I am just so far behind in versions but man, this is awesome.

So should I quantum leap to the latest version or baby step it up?

tapdn

No question- if you are on Preps 4 then you are way behind. Go for ver. 5 then upgrade to 5.3!

BTW, I've been running 5.3.2 for about 2 weeks now and have not had any problems.
