OOPS...sorry set to .04.....Use .02 if you're using inner and outer, but I wouldn't for this.
32/4=8x.005=.04

Hope I didn't screw you up...I feel sick today and I have a designer flipping my world around.

Thats a little different formula than this isn't it?

Steps to produce good shingling

1.) Total Number of pages (p) divided by 4 is the total number of sheets (n)
2.) Thickness of 1 sheet of paper (t)
3.) n * t * 3.14
4.) Take the value of step 3 and divide by 2
5.) Take the value of step 4 and multiply by the Creep Correction Factor of 1.2

The formula should look like this

(((p/4) * t * 3.14)/2) * 1.2

NOTE: This formula came from Scenic Soft Engineering.

I've never seen that formula before. Some people take the formula I gave you and multiply that final number by 1.2, but I have never had to do it myself.

That looks like for something with a circumference. 3.14 is used for finding the circumference of a circle. It's a rounded pi.

I thought the same thing... I also have never seen this formula. Different Strokes I suppose.

Lumpy...you have a link for that formula you posted? Now I'm curious.

that's just bad desinging.  fwiw. I know it doesn't get the project out, but..   poor poor choice on part of the desinger.

I had a designer put a 1/16" bar at the thumb edge. I beat them senseless with DBL Proof.
