Quote from: DigiCorn on March 25, 2013, 04:02:56 PMOkay. I lied. Now Preps puts a stupid little target-type reg. mark at the bottom center and I can't figure out how to remove it.

preferences/output/display punch - kill that
{crack of the bat} Home Run!
(roar of the crowd)

thanks!

That mark indicates to the pressman, where the paper is supposed to line up.

corn don't care.

I'm doing my first official job in Prinergy... right now. Wish me luck.

Good luck. The first is always the best.

No, just a simple 4 color w/t. Everything is not quite set-up yet, so I was kind of winging it just to see what a real job would entail.

Are you imposing in Preps or in Prinergy?

That's the fun part... Preps. I am setting up all my smart marks, media, press sheets and color bars. That's pretty easy once I figured it out. The hard part is getting my damn file to output a VPS. I have some kind of color discrepancy going on. My trainer will be here in the morning, I plan on showing him all my pitfalls.

If you have a non-standard PMS color you will need to add it to the Prinergy color library.

I don't have any weird colors, just straight 4 color. Here's my error...

That one was cutting off...

Try this one.

Yeah you have both Color Convert add ColorFlow activated in your process template...as the message says. Try deactivating ColorFlow in that process template. We don't use ColorFlow at all. Not that it is bad but when you haven't had any formal training it's almost impossible to use.
