Konica Minolta BizhubPro C6501

It's brand new. The last shop I worked at burned down and the insurance replaced the machine and bossman has decided to not start up a new shop so he's selling the replacement. He paid $117,000 for it new and he's asking $40,000 OBO. $32,000 OBO
It is in NW Indiana.
PM me if interested.

Edit: I was under the impression it was brand "spanking" new but it was actually used for 3 months and has 100,000 a hair over 1,000,000 clicks.

I apologize but the correct click amount is a hair over 1 million not 100,000. They are rated to do 250,000 a month.

The options he has on it are:

• Large Capacity Paper Tray

• 100 Page Stapler and Finisher

• Humidifier

• 2 Paper Relay Units

• Spectrophotometer

Also it uses the Creo Rip.

you'll have to get there before my bossman does, and mine's probably less than 1 hour drive from there  :whip:  -  and he's a ginger so watch it.

We'll see. Million clicks might as well be 100K, depending on who was running it and how. Gets all the gremlins worked out, lol.

That's the machine we just bought like 8 months ago. We got a close out price that was less that $40k so that may be a high asking price. (looking at the PDF ours is similar to System Plan 4) so maybe that's the price difference?
We also have a folder stapler finish unit and the Large Cap. Tray.
The LCP is a joke though. Really shoddy build, hard to center stock and mis feeds constantly.

I am surprised at the price of over a hundred grand for a new one. What kind a service contract did you have?

gnubler

We have the same machine.

Beats Xerox.

Went from a KM to a Xerox 700. The Xerox sounds cheap and looks cheap. I hate Xerox's crap.
At least the KM has some sort of presence, like a built guy.

I'm pretty happy with our KM. Except for when it doesn't work and I get "angry".

I can just look at the Xerox and get angry. It usually has some sort of issue.  :hangme:

that's why we have 2 of them. For what it's worth the print quality is actually better than our newer Ricoh C901, and they jam less. Nevermind that the Ricoh is 2x as big and beefy.

I instituted a rule here that when a machine is running well nobody is allowed to look at it or talk about it til the job is done.

I think Xerox blows Konica out the water. Machine wise. They screwed us on a contract. We had a Docucolor 8000. Personally I hated both of them and digital printing period.
