They should send all that manufacturing to China. We don't need that kind of business in the Homeland.   :cheesy:

They did, many years ago. The pollution still lingers. There are a couple mills still open though.

If you would have mentioned this about a year ago, I probably would have hit you up. I was looking into moving to IN. Closer to the old lady's family.

Well, if you ever plan to, I'd set you up at the hubby's company. It's a carton house though. They just bought a 7 color ManRoland. It's smokin. I especially like the walkie-talkie feature on the press instead of just a bell. It's a good company. You'd have to put up with my man though. He's feisty but you'll never be short of entertainment.

I appreciate that. I work with the press guys pretty well. I know what they want, and they all respect me. I don't put up with any bullshit, so I doubt Jerry and I would have a problem. I demand perfection and understand when a pressman does the same.

Cicero bites the big one especially just south of Midway Airport. If it's not out of your way to take 294, that's the route I'd take.

You're probably right. But it could go either way. Gotta put both dogs in the cage to find out.

I live in a geographic oddity - a part of Chicago that is equally nowhere near an expressway, like smack in the middle of the triangle made by 294, 290 and 90/94, about 2.5 miles west of Cicero, at about 6400 west off Belmont.

It is pretty far west to go all the way to 294 via surface streets just to backtrack but yeah it would be faster. I'm thinking 1st Avenue or even Harlem (which is closest to me) all the way south to something that would take me back east. Or just keep working here or something.  :hangme:
