XML with BarX

Anyone using XML with BarX ?
If so.....how?

You sure you mean XML, Backstage works with JDF or JMF and it's quite easy to set up.

We are using Filemaker for our order writing.
We are trying to dip into XML, for instance one guy fixed up a button in Filemaker
which collects Filemaker data for our company tagline,which goes on each job.
The tagline has our logo,order#, UPC#,UPC%, spec#,colors used in job etc.
The data is sucked into Illustrator and automatically fills the template with all needed info.

How could we do this with BarX...seeing as I can't seem to type in the correct numbers for a UPC code.
We want to take out some of the human error.
