Hi all.
Well it's released and out the door now so you should have or be getting your upgrade information soon if you haven't had it already.
A few people on this forum helped with the testing, so many thanks to them. Much appreciated, you contributed to what looks like a very strong release according to the feedback we have.
To make life a bit easier here's a link to the 'What's new' for PitStop 2019.

Excellent! Thanks ABC and all the other Pitstop team!
Is there any need to Export/Backup Local Preflight Profiles, Global Changes, Action Lists etc. before upgrading?
And haven't seen an Update Link, is there a direct one?
You have to get the new product key from your reseller and they are awaiting getting them from Enfocus. Already checked with mine (Matt Beals)

I've never lost any of them upgrading from one version to the next.

Ohhhhh, right. We recently switched to a reseller. Duh.
I'm glad you posted about backing up our actions!
I will make sure mine are all backed up, I'm paranoid that way.
Last time my favorites got lost, so I will take a screen shot to rebuild
that incase it happens again.
Got the new license key today. Woo Hoo!
(doesn't take much to make me woo hoo these days!)
I love 2019 the object browser is awesome!!
watched webinar yesterday ABC is so quick on the fly with pitstop!
Yes it is awesome until you get a file from an idiot that takes 45+ minutes to select the trillion or some paths, clipping paths, images, etc....I had one yesterday I finally gave up on Pitstop ever selecting it. ABC if you are listening I can get this file to you.
sheesh that sounds like a super bad file
did you try removing irrelevant objects first?
That will be a good one for ABC
No all of it was relevant. Useless but relevant.

Would love to see it Joe. Let me know what you wanted to do with it as well.
Development love this kind of thing
I'll PM you a link as soon as I can get it uploaded. Here is a screen grab of the page. The whole top half is all vector and I tried for a long time to get the object browser to select it so I could rasterize at 600 dpi with anti-aliasing but after a long time of seeing the beach ball spinning I finally force quite out of acrobat and gave up. It wouldn't go through the Prinergy trapping portion of the normalizer. Ended up just running the page through without trapping. Still took awhile for that too.

Just sent you the link via PM.
Got it, have an approach how to handle it.
Can I use it in a future webinar (not doing next month's)?
Sure no problem.
I had a seemingly simple file today, destined to run on the iGen5 but as black only & it had an odd border-inside-a-border that was built, of course. Couldn't do a Select Same Stroke so I used the "Looks black, make black" Action and done! Spiffy.
;D ;D ;D ;D ;D ;D ;D

Are you running 2019 yet? The object Browser is perfect for making tough to do selections.
Yup, haven't had a chance to dive into the Object Browser yet, but watched the promo vid & abc's Webinar so I'll give it a stab soon for sure.
I did use the Selective Rasterize today though. Had a 30,000 piece VDP job and the common front had what I thought might be an issue at the iGen. Selectively rasterized that mutha, guess I'll see Monday how it behaves, but I'm optimistic!
anyone know why in my select similar everything is greyed out except stroke?
actually everything is greyed out I cannot even select anything under stroke either!
Incompatible tool selected?
That is weird. Mine works. Try restarting Acrobat.
huh! that fixed it, thanks guys!
Yeah I have had a few times recently where Pitstop just doesn't work anymore. Have to re-start Acrobat. I of course blame Adobe.
Anybody get to see the webinar?
Somehow It didn't work for me, It said waiting for Host
Today? Didn't know there was one today. I used to get notifications for these.
There must of been a technical problem or something, I will post when there are webinars from now on. That has happened to me before, I will find the link and post later for you to register for events.
Something may have happened to your registrations, I think they do it different now, not sure.

Hmmmm, Registration fields are old. They only go up to Version 2017 when asking which Pitstop/Server we have.
Yeah I noticed that too so I just put Pitstop 2017.
DPS sometimes the recordings are better you can rewind! ;)
Loving the if it looks black make it black action. Used it three times the first day we upgraded.

Been trying to download monthly webinars from Enfocus website but I've been getting this message: This recording cannot be played or downloaded because it was disabled by the host.
Hopefully ABC will come in here at post a link to the webinars.
Hi all
Just got back from a business trip only to find out the webinar did not take place on Wednesday.
Apologies for that, no excuse, somebody just forgot.
The movies, agendas and assets now all live here.
https://www.enfocus.com/en/learn
If you login with your EnfocusID then you can actually get additional content as well.
Any questions please let me know.
Is that content the recorded webinars?
Yep they are all there Joe, including the May 2019 one.
use the search options for Product = 'PitStop' and Type = "Workshop' and they are all there back to 2014.
OK thanks.

Definately, I always download to watch later... easier to find now too!
