Hey, y'all, I got a new gig and gave notice today. So, there is an opening here that we need to fill if anyone in the Baltimore area is looking. We are a 28" sheetfed shop running a brand new install of Prinergy 5. Very high quality work with lots of custom stuff.

It is a very nice place to work in a laid-back environment. I've been here 12 years, but an opportunity presented itself that I couldn't pass up.

Pass me your resume if interested and I'll give it to the powers that be.

DCurry, I was in Baltimore last week with my former colleagues looking to buy a 29" 5 color press at Port City Press for a merger that may or may not take place. We are out of Old Town Alexandria just outside of Washington, and the company I worked for is out of business now. My question is you are near Baltimore, is the location between Washington and Baltimore?
Thanks, jim

DCurry

Just north of Baltimore outside of the beltway in Towson.

Where does she work?

I'd take San Diego over Baltimore any day, and I've never even been to CA!

Thanks, DCS - I'm moving from a smallish family shop to a large non-printing corporation that has an in-house print shop. Better pay, better benefits, pension...

Can't ask for better. Unless watching or participating in Porn and getting paid for it.

My company has a Tension Plan. You don't have to wait for retirement though.

I gave 3 weeks notice, so Sept. 21. The only other prepress op here also got a new job at the same place (slightly different department) and we gave notice at the same time.

My lips are moving and the sound's coming out
The words are audible but I have my doubts
That you realize what has been said
