here we have a 2-color toko, an ab dick 1color and another abdick that strictly envelopes. we outsource our full color work to local trade printers, and then the rest is all digital copiers.

New job maybe....
But being that I don't "need" a job - they are going to have to pay up.
And they really need someone with prepress/printing knowledge.
I really have a sweet deal at my current job.. for instance boss man gave me the key to the 5th floor ocean front condo for the weekend this past weekend... "just to show his appreciation for my hardwork" NOBODY else here gets that kinda treatment... It's gonna be hard to leave this place... if I do.

Long story short-
Wifey works for an Ad Agency - one of their clients is a big time Contract MFG for the Pharmaceutical Industry. They called her boss (Art Director / Owner) looking for help finding an "expert graphics & printing person" He called me and asked if I was interested - I sent a rezzy and got a call 1 day later.

They don't own any drugs like Merck or Glaxo Smith Kline... those guys are their clients. They just make MFG the drugs and package them. So that's were I come in... they have a dept now for Packaging & Graphics, but nobody knows what they are doing. No Mac experience, no PDF knowledge, etc... They need SOPs, help in the proofing cycles, press checks, and getting the printed stuff on the MFG floor to package the products and ship them on schedule.

Worse case - I just got another 9hrs of interview experience. ;)
Best case - new job, more $$$$, and no fucking newsletters or Publisher files!

Yes, especially that these days everyone wants to live till is 110 with robots cleaning cooking and serving us beer. Well, at least till they will take over as in Terminator or Matrix
