If you recently updated your iPhone to iOS 11.0.3 - you MIGHT be having an issue experiencing an awesome new apple feature with typing the letter "I"..  it will show up in texts, Facebook posts, and other apps as a capital letter "A" and a square with a question mark in it.

Here's a fix until Apple does something about it in case you think you know better than Apple what you want to type...

Here's how to do it:

Go into your Settings
Click "General"
Click "Keyboard"
Click "Text Replacement"
Click "+" to add a new one
Type an upper-case "I" under "Phrase" and type a lower-case "i" under "Shortcut."

That is not a bug. It is a feature. Apple knows better than you what you should type. :sarcasm:

The easiest workaround is to not spend $1k on a phone that can't even type it's own name.

Just get an android. It might hiccup some times but it's got most of what the X does and more. Of course you know the next flagship samsung that comes out is gonna be $1k. You know they love copying Apple.

You wouldn't catch me dead with an Android - sorry.  :hello:

To each their own. I need the ability to have root access and a unlocked bootloader so I can purge it of all the bullshit I will never use that takes up resources. I know many that are overjoyed with their iPhones, it's just not for me. I'm still running a galaxy S3 as my daily. It seems to have developed a hardware issue (won't connect to the towers even with a new SIM) but it owes me nothing.

That's because you only ate berries and twigs. Hard to keep the underwear clean with all that roughage.
