So as a general fan of the program, it's gotten me out of some major jams and frustrated me at simple items at times (it's very inconsiderate of multiple placings of pdfs with Pantone, they tend to process out).
I was considering keeping it in the 1.9 update, but this update seems pretty critical.

It won't replace InDesign any time soon, but it does have some great parts to it, for the price I highly reccomend.

So now they have V2.52, with a variable font engine. PDFs, however get instances. Not sure how it all works.

I will say stability seems really great compared to the older 1.x versions.
Gabba Gabba Hey

DPSprint

Just upgraded to 2.52 (at home for at home stuff) and still really liking most of what affinity do, wish I had more time to really get stuck into learning it properly

Presently it's up to 2.6, been bought out by Canva (big news!).

It's getting more stable. Still has some export to pdf issues (process out spots at times). I use it more and more.

Still not quite there, but I encourage people to try something different that has some cool options.

Hmmm InDesign recently added history... Publisher nippin at yer heals?

The more I use it the more I like.

Hey, it's got Pantone Spot colors!!
