I know how to right click.
Speed doesn't kill, rapidly becoming stationary is the problem

I'd rather have stories told than be telling stories of what I could have done.

I actually have two PDF files that I need converted to InDesign files too, if anyone can help me out...

They're newsletters that I need to recreate as InDesign templates.

Cheers,

I think it might work for a Newsletter, on the trial you are limited
to 4 pages and 3 sessions,
It puts a water mark on its own layer
(delete layer)

I emailed Pdf2id to see if they will try and make my pdf work
I already manually transferred everything.
But if they can show me it will work I will get it.

oops, just remembered it will lower the resolution of your
images for the trial, I didn't have images in my pdf.

That's fine -- new images are going into the new issues.

These are 12-page newsletters, though...

I'm still fighting the tail end of something. Massive fatigue, pretty much just feeling like shit. I did spend some time on turkey day with the mobile CDC quarantine known as kids and a few of them "had the sniffles". Probably picked up gonasyphaherpalaids from one of them. I managed to nuke a turkey because of it. Not good when you put the turkey in, cook it for 2 hours then fall asleep and cook it for another 6 hours. The skin is crisp but unfortunately, so is the breast.

The low res image issue shouldn't be a problem with any of the newsletters I do. If anything it would improve the resolution. I'm working on a calendar right now. They have thumbnails of the images on the BC. How they managed to reduce a high res image and manage to make it a low res image I'll never know. They have been doing this for the past 7 years. After the first 3 I stopped trying to help.

Fonty if you do the trial let us know how it works.
I don't think my file was typical

Tracy

I heard back from Recosoft and they did my pdf
It seems since my tables were rotated PDF2ID didn't
like it. They rotated them first and then made the indy file.
They sent me 7 pages and it seemed to work.

I downloaded the trial, but when I went to convert the PDF to InDesign, I got a request for a password...  :-/

I think you have to go thru the steps and they send you the trial?

Tracy

They're pretty strict on their trial, It seems they think we would take advantage or somethin
