you can always view your pdfs in full screen mode, which you can make the background color anything you want.

Don't like it. Palettes go away in full screen.

Color me finicky! (or at least anything except a dark charcoal gray background...)

I wouldn't suggest biting into the can or huffing it. I have no hair, so a quick blast on the old dome, and I am instantly refreshed.
