I would like to use the word Kafkaesque on a regular basis, but for some reason, I just can't seem to get the hang of it...

If describing client files I can use Kakaesque on a regular basis.

Do you use the word Kafkaesque on a regular basis? Do you wear black frame eyeglasses? Ironic 80s soda pop tshirts?

No. No. No.

You will not fit in at an urban coffeeshop. Let's try a different approach: do you have a woodworker's beard and a golden retriever?

We are running out of avenues here...

QuoteMac OS

• Intel® Core™ Duo or faster processor

• Mac OS X v10.6 or higher

• 512MB of RAM (1GB recommended)

• Adobe® AIR® 2.7 or higher

All my Macs are running 10.5 or lower. Guess I won't be demo'ing Muse. Boo hoo.

WTF is Adobe Air? No thanks!

After running the Muse site, built with Muse, thru the W3C validators:

Have fun, dezingers. Joe, I hope you or I don't end up taking over one of these POS sites.

Just looking at the source code of the Muse home page makes me want to barf. That layout could be hand coded with like 99% less code.  :death:

QuoteGranted, the code Muse generates isn't going to win any awards, but in most cases, a designer's clients (and those clients' customers) aren't going to be too concerned if the end result is a super slick, magazine-like website that perfectly matches their signage and other print collateral.

Right now it's in beta and free. Once it goes live you can't buy it. It is on a subscription only. $20 a month or $180 per year. And it is not a replacement for Dreamweaver. It is a replacement for iWeb. Dreamweaver lives on...

Much like what CS6 is going to except CS6 will be much more per month/per year.

Well, the code purist community is going to squirm and seethe when they see sites being built with this crap tool.

I bet it's bloated as crap, too. Like all the other Adobe stuff.

BTW, I saw Photoshop v.3 for sale at the thrift store (with floppy installers) for $3.99. I've never used v.3 but I bet it can do 90% of what I used PS for in general prepress.
