now I know no one likes talking about it anymore, but did anyone get either of the special bundle packages with Q8. Betweem 3 of us, we got at least 1 of each. Q8 was running fine when first installed, but since adding on the bundles, it crashes every time I do a save. :banghead:
Anyone else had this?
We have not had to deal with a Q file for... a long time. :relieved: + :touchwood: But there'll be someone here who stills takes incoming, Hawkeye and Trapper-style. :helicopter:
Now that I've said that. :suicidebomber:
I worked it out, just had to turn the file verification off....don't know why that is not working...don't care particuarly, as long as I can get this job done. Thanks!
Am a bit surprised you are getting Q files in OZ. Most here seem to have dumped it quite a way back... :undecided: Glad you got it worked out.
We get a few here and there. A lot are retrievals. This file goes back about 8 years, probably half my problem.... I was a diehard Q person until about 4 years ago, should i admit to that?

There's a group on here. Kinda like AA. Very supportive. You are not Robinson Crusoe.
Yeah, I tend to perceive Oz as slightly more techincally *evolved* than the US, so I'm sorry to hear q is still in the picture. Sounds like a bonus feature! Luckily we get zero q files from clients so no upgrades will be occurring for me.
And of course, we are just peons to Adobe now, as sometimes noted.

No worries, I was the same way. Once you admit you have the problem it becomes much easier.
