Hey guys, it's been a very long time since I've been here but I have a weird issue with a new Epson SC-P9570 we have. I'm calibrating it using Fuji's Color Path Sync and every pass the dE2000 is worse than the previous iteration. Has anyone ever seen this?

Are you using the inline spectro with that? If so, you may need to clean the white calibration disc.

No I'm using an i1IO table with an i1pro2 and Fuji's Color Path Sync web.

I'll probably have to call Fuji, but thought I'd check here first.

I'm looking seriously at the same printer. Any issues printing on 24pt or even 28pt C1S? How about ink usage. The 750ml carts are spendy but I realize the need for a proof that matches the final printed piece.
Thanks for any info -

That I don't know. We pretty much will just be using it to make color proofs for our litho presses on 260gsm Epson Semimatte paper.

The SC-P95x0 is the natural choice for proofing for those coming from previous models, such as the SC-P90x0 or earlier Stylus Pro models (or the smaller 24" or 17" models). Many of our clients have this model, particularly if they need to proof Pantone or other spot colours.

Some clients who only need CMYK proofing have chosen to go down the SC-P20000 or SC-P10000 route (no inline SpectroProofer).

I'd suggest that you perform print tests and compare the total cost of ownership and ongoing consumable costs etc. Also check RIP support!

Good luck!
