make your own smart mark group. Make 2 marks, how you like them, based off the edge of sheet or whatever, then put them both in a folder in your smartmarks folder, it will be a smartmark group you can just click on and it will apply.

I have all my marks dialed in. I just have to watch out for the bizarro impo where those particular marks go into the work. Then I change the length from .5" to whatever.
