If you don't mind a ball park figure would be great to know. I've been afraid to ask. ;D

I'm sure it won't be cheap. Just like the JTP rentals I enquired about.

Do they stick a gun in your mouth when they give you that price?

1: It's not a gun.

2: It's not coming from the front.

It's amazing how they can quote those prices and seriously think you're getting a break since you don't have to pay a service contract for it.

Joe

Yeah Kodak's pricing always rubs me the wrong way. You pay anywhere from $5,000 - $20,000 for a new feature and then you have the monthly service contract fee for the rest of time. I love Prinergy but if it was my decision we wouldn't be using it.

I shudder to think how much we wasted on that useless service contract. Not once did it ever serve a purpose. By the time they got back to me, I already solved the issue just from googling, RTFM and help files.

Yes, they mentioned to the JTP rentals to me, evidently it was something some customers had been requesting for a while because they have spikes of work during certain months.

We are newbies with Prinergy (1year) and InSite (6months) but I must say the support has been great all around.
Yes a little expensive but so far I can't complain.  They seem to get right back to me within an hour most times quicker.
We have a 3 year contract with first year free, now that is ending and our 1st quarter Support Plus payment is about $3,600 for InSite and Prinergy.

We also installed a Magnus 800 with auto-loader a year ago and our owner refused to pay service and support on that.
That has worked out as we had some problems the first few months that Kodak took care of but running pretty smoothly since.

Our service contract is around $24K per year. But that is the full service contract that covers all updates. Both minor and major.

Looks like ours will be $14,400...we get everything too.
Why so different?  How many servers do you have?
