...just dragged the new download onto 'new' iMac Desktop.  :popcorn:

...just when I thought we were going to get over the line, Adobe trips us up again.

And there we shall sit, like a toadstool.

Wow...maybe Adobe has blackballed your IP. Take one of those iMacs to a different location and try it.

You're not stealing your neighbors bandwidth are you?

B-b-but if we can download the 251 MB app, why not the update?

We have a long weekend starting in a few hours. It's for next week...

Must be from a different server. I would try opening a support ticket with Adobe. You pay dearly for it so you might as well use it.

Some good news, I think. Download of the Update for ACCC app has reached 42% after 1.5 hours.

I think we call that 'progress', in Adobe terms.

---> long weekend.

Maybe.

If it was here on our 15 mb slow ass pipe it would take a week to update.

Moving to DC apps is like a season of Breaking Bad. (I'm still waiting for Kristen Ritter to appear, for light relief).

In the ACCC app, does 'Install' mean 'I'm about to hook up to Adobe and download your app..we'll talk tomorrow' ? I.e., it's not on your Mac yet. So we re-define what Install means these days...

So, what's the diff between Open, and Launch?  :undecided:

Yes, "Install" actually means "Download and Install".

No difference between 'Open' and 'Launch' as far as I know of.

PhSh 'Install' has this time reached 97% and looking as though it's stalled. The new term is 'Nonstall'.   :rolleyes:

I guess this is where it comes in handy having the "Team Account" with Creative Cloud. I don't have to download the apps to each of our 11 machines. I can make up a package file in the CC Team Admin account of all the apps and download it once and then install all of the apps locally to each machine. But you pay dearly for that option. Which might be reason to torpedo the single user license download. Sort of a 'make it as difficult as possible' scenario. Hah....ADOBE WOULD NEWVER DO THAT, right?
