Skype spam

Am a new user of Skype. I notice the occasional, seemingly Skype-sourced, spam appearing on the Desktop. Stuff like "click on this...you have a virus'; 'meet nice Russian ladies...'
Anyone else encounter this when/after using Skype? Am on Mac at home, FWIW.

don't use skype myself, but, some of them Russian ladies are very nice, from what I've been told.

Ewww! Sounds yucky.

I hated Skype 4 years ago and I'd probably hate it more today. Good luck.

That's weird!
I use a PC at home and NEVER get any crap like that after/from using Skype.
