Pagination workflow - "the rest" of the pages

Is there a method for indicating "all the rest" of the pages in my input file - rather than having to specify exact pages? I'd like to create a workflow that peels off the first 4 pages and send them over here. Then peel off the next 8 pages and send them over there. Without knowing how many pages remain, I'd like the rest of the pages handled as 16 page sigs. All that's going fine, except I need to make 1 workflow for 28p files, and another for 44p files and another for... 60p and so on. Any solution that allows this to be handled with a single setup?
