Copying from One run to another
« on: October 28, 2016, 05:19:37 PM »
Hello guys,
I have a crazy complex gang template and I normally set these up as multi webs. We got a new press  and some versions will be run on two different presses. I have everything built for each individual press but I have a couple of templates where I need to merge and I don't want to buld from scratch.

Is it possible to copy press run 2 into press run 1 and make it web 3?

BTW, I am in Preps 7 and am still somewhat green. It this was 5 it would be a no brainer.

Thanks so much,

John Stewart

I never have any luck trying that. Not saying it isn't possible. To me it is easier to just start from scratch.
Mac OS 10.14.6 Mojave | Prinergy 8.2 | Adobe Creative Cloud 2019 | Two Luscher XPose 160 CTP units

Prepress: One who does precision guess work based on unreliable data provided by those of questionable knowledge.

Thanks Joe, no luck either for me. It is two different media types as well and it did not work at all.

I got it to work by numbering and making it just one section.
