And I'm not seeing any delay when doing those things you are seeing a delay in. Has to be related though.

So I just found that if I drag and drop pdf(s) from workshop to the Acrobat DC icon they open instantly but double clicking them from Workshop results in the 8 second delay. Also if I go to the storage tab and drag and drop vps files to the VPS application icon on the doc they open up instantly too.

Hmmm maybe that's why I am not seeing so much delay, I tend to drag snd drop to the dock

I actually didn't know you could do that from Workshop. I knew you could drag a file to the desktop to copy it there but had no idea I could open a PDF by dragging it to the Acrobat icon. Bonus is I can select multiple PDF's from workshop and open them in Acrobat via drag and drop to the Acrobat icon.
